Review on ☕ Nostalgia HCM700RETRORED Retro Hot Chocolate Maker and Milk Frother: Perfect Cappuccinos, Lattes, and Dispenser - 32oz by Ted Higdem

I gave two stars because it's so loud it's almost useless. The video shows how loud it is - 74 decibels; almost as loud as a garbage chute. It worked well, it heated up the hot cocoa a lot, but without the auto shut off you have to control it more directly. I didn't shoot at the stars because of the auto-off feature; clear that the description is honest about it. I used to have a cocoa latte that had an auto shut off and a feature that turned the unit back on to reheat the cocoa. These would have been welcome additions to this device, but I didn't pull them off because I didn't have them. However, like cocoa latte, it is very difficult to peel. A film forms on the heating surface which is very difficult to remove. Because the sound was so loud I ended up sending it back and buying one of these: Mr. Coffee BVMC-HC5 Cafe Kakao Hot Chocolate Maker, Black. The Herr Kaffee is MUCH more expensive, but practically silent. It has a non-stick heating surface that makes cleaning extremely easy. I would recommend this one, even with the extra cost.
