The charger has a soft-touch metal surface with a mechanical finger grip. The cable is flexible and can easily be rolled into a loop for storage. The front of the device glows a subtle shade of blue when connected to the network, but not so brightly as to distract occupants. I like it so much that I might consider buying another one for our other cars. I also appreciate that the end of the lightning cable works with my phone case, meaning it doesn't work, but the connector is oversized. I recommend this device if you are looking for a car charger.
