Unstable brightness
Inexpensive and looks good. However, the brightness of my string was not constant over its entire length. The LEDs at the end of the chain are half as bright (or even less) than the LEDs at the beginning of the chain. This meant I had to run a string "back and forth" so that the total amount of light in a given area was roughly the same along the entire length. As others have said, the default is flashing, so every time they're online you have to press the button 7 times or select the option you want on the remote. Just correct the first setting!
