Review on 🌑 Jacquard Idye Poly: Black - High-Quality Polyester Dye for Vibrant, Long-Lasting Black Coloration by Kim Sanchez

Let me start by saying I tried to die but I'm not a serious dyer. I dyed some doilies and such to cover up the stains (and create a dark theme) using Rit Dyemore for the synthetic. I have nice dark grays but no BLACKS. Now about that. I bought a cheap plastic grille on offer from Joanne to use on a project, but it was ELECTRIC BLUE. I decided I would paint it for the price. Knowing I would never get the final color I wanted with Rit, I beat Revain and started reading the reviews. I chose this one, bought it and was excited for its arrival. I will tell you, that it worked with sleep now, so no need to read if you just want to make sure it works. IT WORKS! OK. still with me Damn it worked! I use a stainless steel pan and tongs when painting things on the stove. I used to pour dye water down my pink china sink. I used to have to use some elbow grease to get everything clean, but not too hard. IS THIS? The light blue color had inclusions with a metallic sheen. Now this is a BEAUTIFUL metallic black shimmering wonder. Achievement unlocked. This time the stainless steel pan was cleaned with bleach. The sink was filled with bleach solution and left to soak as it was a lovely shade of gray (an improvement I think but we rent). There are a few stains on the pink countertop near the stove, but that's the next touch-up job and elsewhere they're starting to peel. I was VERY CAREFUL! A single drop of this substance will stain even METAL almost instantly! It also smelled awful. The fabric has been washed twice and still stinks. Luckily it's going to be a comb rack, so I don't care if it's sharp. Will definitely be using this again, but OUTSIDE! We have a black folding table and will be using this and our camping stove in the future, and this spare pot is now dedicated to that smelly, dirty, wonderful process! Pour water on the asphalt!
