Despite the propaganda, I have always loved and used SM products. Their masks are usually A1 for my 3c-4b mixed texture medium back length kinky coils. I also wear henna to some extent, so I like to use SM masks for deep conditioning or leave-in styling. I loved and used the super fruit mask but with the henna I had protein overload and ONLY needed something moisturizing. I love their Raw Shea & Capuacu leave-in mask, but I'm still open to other DC moisturizers. My hair drinks milk, so for the most part I don't mess with styling milk and leave-in. I didn't pay much attention to this mask as it says 'strengthening' and I didn't want to dwell on protein. reload. But after a friend who also has thick curly hair shared that she uses it as a leave-in since it's very moisturizing, I had to try it. I LOVE this mask! To be honest I think the word "fortification" is a misnomer as it is so much more hydrating than anything else! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an amazingly deep hydrating conditioner to add to their skincare routine. If you love ultra-hydrating, thick leave-on products, you'll love this one too :).
