I have 3a/3b curly hair and use it to lift it from the roots and add volume without damaging the curl or causing frizz. I also use it for detangling on day 2 and 3 after removing my satin sleepyhead and medusa clip. The less you touch your curls with your hands, the better for your curls. It helps me and is inexpensive. I have no complaints.
