I was expecting a bit flimsy cutter but got a quality tool with very strong teeth. I have an Afrocentric beard that I let grow and combs and brushes quickly take a back seat as the beard grows thicker and longer. My husband uses this to style his hair. a little easier. This one didn't have tapered ends, so it was blunter (see side-by-side photo for comparison). The tines also have a bit more flexibility (not as stiff). Overall, it makes a solid and durable impression. .
