The only carrier that fits my Maine Coon cat

Yesterday I got the second one and unfortunately had to use it for an emergency trip to the vet today. The carrier is quick and easy to set up in about 2 steps from the packaging. I have had my (very large) cat for over 12 years and this is the only carrier I can easily and safely move her into without assistance. I have to keep it bagged at all times because my cat has a medical condition and I don't want her to associate release of the carrier with a vet visit. However, it folds up easily and compactly for storage. My cat seems to like the carrier very much and sleeps/hangs in it by himself. The little one is roomy enough for him but I wouldn't take another big cat and expect them to be comfortable. It would also be very difficult to carry around, as would a large pet carrier, as I can barely handle a small one with a pet in it. My cat normally weighs 15 pounds but has gotten a little smaller lately; Its body is about 30 inches long including the tail. The stretcher itself has some weight (small is quite large) but still has some sag at the bottom where the animal's weight is. I can take a short walk with him, but it's uncomfortable. As I said, this is my second. The first was about a year old. The cat outside damaged something (he saw it as a scratching post) and then got sick in it and was difficult to clean; Thinsulate instructions state dry cleaning only. So with regular use there is a wear factor, but such is life with a cloth sling. And yet I didn't hesitate to buy the product again as I was able to find a good price on Revain.
