They are thicker and stronger than the original control arms with the added benefit of correcting the camber angle. I adapted to my Ford Focus, drove a bit and checked the camber angle. I kept making small adjustments with the leveler until everything was perfect. This is how you want to prevent premature wear of your tires. I originally bought a pair for my 2008 Focus but ended up buying this pair for my 2018 model as well. Fixed camber issue on both cars. Also works on some Ford Escape and Mazda 3 models. Highly recommended!
