Doesn't heat that much, smells TERRIBLE when heated and the plates have a chemical smell and are very thin. No matter how much butter is spread on a sandwich, it won't get crispy, and I think that's due to this machine's heating issues. Also, the light never changes, so you have to keep an eye on your sandwich to keep it from burning through. I return mine.
