I installed a cruiser deck with spikes. Today I drove about ten kilometers with it. My deck is 9 ply and the hardware length is perfect for mounting riser trucks. The bushings have good rigidity. I can cut as hard as I want and not bite the wheel. The wheels are great for a cruiser. They roll well over cracks and pebbles. They have good grip for carving and hold momentum well for a softer bike. The bearings exceeded my expectations and then some. I use Bones Red on my other boards and these bearings spin about the same. Try the bearings before spending money on upgrades. Other reviews have mentioned issues with installing bearings in the wheel; I put them in the truck like I always do and there were no problems. No spacers are included. I intend to live without spacers for the rest of the life of these bearings. If you want to build a cruiser this kit is a good buy. No need to upgrade bearings or hardware as mentioned in other reviews. I ride my longboard every day and have built several skateboards. I don't write reviews often, but I hesitated for a long time to purchase this kit, thinking I might need to upgrade the bearings or bushings. I'm glad I pulled the trigger. Great kit as is.
