Wow. That's great!

This is amazing! I installed them on the living room ceiling for music and also to complete the surround sound system. Brackets are included and the actual mounting setup is easy. For me it was the preparation that took some time. I had to figure out exactly where to mount them, the separation, which direction the ceiling joists went, where to cut the ceiling and wall to minimize holes and patches, how many wires needed, etc. I hired a rock drill and bought a 54" extension for my drill (I ended up getting the extension for free - I returned it because it broke in half while finishing the last hole). It was definitely a weekend project. This involved cutting through the ceiling and wall, drilling through some joists, running the speaker wire through the ceiling and down the inside of the wall to the receiver, installing the speakers, patching the wall panel and doing some touch ups and I have that Project done by yourself but if you can and plan well it shouldn't be a problem. I spent the extra money and bought a premium speaker cable. I mean, if you're going through all this work, why skimp on cables? All said and done, it was a project I was proud of. :) You know, it's good if even after a few years you still stop and say "Wow, that sounds great!". Either way they fill the room with sound and with the two fronts, a center and the Polk subwoofer we have they really add to the surround sound and the music sounds fantastic too. We get these kids from time to time and they do well with whatever we have to offer them.
