For Zoom meditation classes as an alternative to a cheap ($200) video camera that requires a video capture card. It also has a much larger sensor, so the picture quality is better than a cheap camcorder. It has the advantages of a good camera with optical zoom and aperture adjustment, but is designed for use as a computer webcam. It's entirely manual, and since it doesn't have a display, you need to be able to see the computer screen every time you adjust focus, zoom, or aperture. Unlike many webcams, this isn't autofocus and the focus changes as the zoom changes. .Adjustment screws can easily be lost but they don't seem essential for my use.
