I was looking for a cheap disposable shoe and bought this to try. I have driven a Honda ST1300 and they are not a very good pair. When you place the front wheel in this block, both brake discs are also on the inside and almost touching the block. This would not require much movement in either direction and could warp the rotors. The picture does not show this and if you look at other similar pads they also show that the rotors are not included. If you have an off-road bike with a large front wheel, small disc rotors, or front drum brakes, this will work for you. It is made from a 1 inch diameter tube, and wherever I measured the innards it was 5.75 inches to 6.00 inches wide.
