A couple of points, VHF reception is slightly better than average using a 3 inch antenna. Locale and filter for a radio that only turns off in emergencies (serious alerts), which I find handy when you're camping and need to wake up and move. The mono speaker is quite loud and the sound quality is pretty impressive for the size. Reception The Bluetooth is very good and the mSD card slot is available to use MP3 music mixes, the radio calls it "Music Play Moder" and the mSD card is hidden behind a rubber pad that makes it durable. long lasting as a power bank, flashlight and playtime on a full battery Compass is a nice boy scout touch I would use this radio in my cabin at work and even take it with me to listen to music in a hotel. Thoughtful design and quite robust. I wish they added an alarm but it takes a lot and your phone can do it. I would buy it again if I had to remodel.
