Bought to replace a 6 year old who smells like a wet dog. Works perfectly. I started rinsing the old one out after each use. Big mistake as the water hardens the internal dust. The old one was dismantled and cleaned/disinfected with the T-8 driver. Rinse them with white vinegar and dry each part before reassembling. It almost doesn't smell anymore. Now I have two and can switch if necessary. From now on I will only use compressed air to blow out the dust. I would like Dyson to sell the internal seals as a kit, but Dyson don't want consumers messing around with this part.
