The product works well but if I buy a used item I would like to hear about it. Item was not listed as used but had scratches. It was well packaged so it couldn't happen during shipping. As I really needed it to get my vacuum working again and it works I kept it but will not be ordering from this seller again.

Bought to replace a 6 year old who smells like a wet dog. Works perfectly. I started rinsing the old one out after each use. Big mistake as the water hardens the internal dust. The old one was dismantled and cleaned/disinfected with the T-8 driver. Rinse them with white vinegar and dry each part before reassembling. It almost doesn't smell anymore. Now I have two and can switch if necessary. From now on I will only use compressed air to blow out the dust. I would like Dyson to sell the internal

My vacuum cleaner works much better now and smells better. We have German Shepherds and give our vacuum cleaners a real job. That's why I chose Dyson Animal. After a few years of daily use, sometimes twice a day, my vacuum started smelling like a dirty dog and stopped being as good as new. Instead of replacing a very expensive vacuum cleaner I decided to buy new filters and now it works like new. Plus, no more smelly dog smell. I like my vacuum cleaner again, or at least as much as one can love
