Endless building and learning options! Great fun for all ages!

My daughter is 6 and I love these blocks. I received this set for free from Tryazon and Guidecraft in exchange for hosting a party and an honest review. All opinions and experiences are honest and my own. We had a party and kids ages 3-11 were using I/O blocks to build. We used the included building cards - durable, colorful and double-sided. We also built with our imagination. This was the kids favorite part! Some of the projects presented were simply too difficult for this age group. As a homeschooling parent/mum this is an amazing feature indeed - these blocks are great for practical thinking and learning up to at least 15 years old. I've watched my daughter build structures and used them on STEM projects for years. They are strong, durable and have a great color. They connect well but allow for movement [great if you decide to use them for frame-by-frame animation projects!]. They can be easily mixed and matched with other fabrics [like Playdough] for even more creative play and projects. The only current downside to these building blocks is that they come with a free app that isn't quite up to date yet. The augmented reality app allows the builder to look at around 20 different construction projects and see how they are put together. It's great to see how pieces of more complex projects fit together, especially when you're stuck. However, not all build maps are currently included in the app and this has left some kids frustrated and frustrated. I think the app has a lot of room for growth, but the app is an add-on, not essential to the fun of these blocks! There are countless ways to use these blocks for teaching and learning. They are recommended for ages 4+ and I agree. I think they're a great investment for any class. The kids I hung out with would agree. They said they would choose these blocks over any other given the choice! They liked the colors, shapes and puzzles of the blocks.
