Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Niji Waterbrush by Yasutomo KWB09 - Small - High-Quality Portable Brush for Watercolor Techniques by Morgan Gilmore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My favorite for vacuums and floor care products

These are my favorite water pens on the market and I have several of these and other brands (I refill some with colored ink). The reason I like this particular brand is that they have better flow control compared to other brush pens like Pentel Aquash or Koi. The water tank has a very small opening to prevent water from accidentally flooding the brush. Others have me constantly having to blot excess water off the tip with a paper towel. The downside is that this superior control comes at a price - the small hole in the tank means you can't hold it under the tap to refill. The instructions say to squeeze it into a glass of water and siphon off the water. This is not very satisfactory as the tank is only half full at best. I use (like many others) a small blunt-nosed 5ml plastic syringe. I bought mine from Revain but Goulet Pen also sells them and has videos on how to use them and how to store a blunt needle in the plunger cavity for easy portability. while in many others they are listed as Kuretake Niji. They all have a Kuretake stamp on the side, so apparently they're the same brush pens.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
