Great fan replacement kit! Update: Died after almost a year and a half

Update: Well after almost a year and a half this replacement fan has died. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone considering that. My original fan lasted three years (bought the switch on launch day). I hope the replacement fan will last AT LEAST that long, if not longer. Looks like I'll replace it again but not with this company's fan... It recently started making noise before it stopped working but it wasn't as bad as my previous fan so I wasn't sure if that was the last sign that he was failing. When playing the dock, my Switch would show a warning that the console was too hot and should go to sleep. The fan stops working and causes overheating. He appears to be completely dead now. First Review: This is a pretty good fan replacement kit. It comes with tools, but I strongly advise anyone who buys it to avoid using screwdrivers - the screwdrivers that come with kits like this are usually made out of cheap, soft metal and this greatly increases your chances of removing the screw . You can easily find quality screwdriver sets specifically for Nintendo devices. The fan is high quality and works great. I had to replace my original fan because the bearings were worn and it was making horrible noises. I decided I had to replace it before it failed completely. It was a fairly easy installation process, even though I have quite a bit of experience disassembling and working with electronics. Took me about 40 minutes or so. For those with experience, repairs should take between 20 and 60 minutes. A beginner should be able to complete it successfully, but use extreme caution, move slowly, and be sure to view or read the online disassembly guide. I also highly recommend making sure the fan is working after it's installed (and everything else is in place) before reinstalling the heat shield and backplate. There are many different screws, so multiple shells are a must to separate and group them. I also recommend tweezers, although not required. Just makes things easier. Also, I didn't use the wipes that came with it as I didn't know what was in them. I chose to use pure isopropyl alcohol with cotton swabs to clean the original thermal paste. Definitely recommend this kit if you need a fan replacement. Made my Switch much quieter.
