I'm a gamer on the go so games on my ASUS ROG Strix GL502 get a little warm. My laptop gets very hot when I set the fan to MAX settings. I've used about 5 cooling pads in the last 2 years so to be honest I wasn't expecting to get a cooling pad that lasted more than a few months without problems. After about 3 1/2-4 months I can say that this blanket has NOT let me down even after 4 months of extreme use (travelling). The fans blow out fairly cool air and direct it away from my GPU. Note that even with fans at altitude, this isn't overwhelming. I know a lot of gamers are ridiculously finicky about fan noise. I personally play with headphones so it doesn't bother me. I've sometimes left the cooling pad on for a few nights and haven't noticed any side effects. The height adjustment is impressive! I've never come across a cooling mat that allows your PC to sit so high that I channel air from below. So if you can spend $30 on a rug, do it! I just ordered another one as a replacement. I can no longer imagine this fridge-freezer combination! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 stars from this guy). ★ UPDATE ★ I bought a second radiator stand expecting to need it now.
