Preserved hardened, dried product
I have a feeling that the item I received was quite old and has been on a shelf for a while. When I opened the Sculpey block it was hardened and non-functional. Luckily I was able to find several ways to restore it using mineral oil, but I have to warn you that the process isn't easy, fun, or messy. I would have preferred to receive a fresh product that can be used straight from the packaging as intended. I do not recommend buying this product online based on my experience.
