Review on Cuisinart DCG 12BC Central Coffee Grinder by John Clark

This is a great all round product that does the job perfectly. The stainless steel surface allows for quick wiping and cleaning as needed. The only thing I have about this product is what I would call a design flaw. Specifically, when grinding coffee grounds for my wife's morning coffee, you put the coffee beans in the container, put the lid on and press down. Works great and serves its purpose, but since there is no seal on the lid, the coffee grounds constantly spill out. This isn't an overflow issue as I respected the fill line. When grinding coffee beans, it pushes the ground coffee up and to the side, and without the lid's sealing, some of the coffee still comes up and overflows, which annoys my wife. As for me, I can live with a little tidying up, but with a little more thoughtful design with product perfection in mind, I'd get the job done. But since everything is offered all around, I like the product very much.
