We had one like this 4 years earlier. We broke the top so I ordered a new one to replace the whole thing. After only 4 months, the grinder blade failed, so it no longer grinds coffee. I have contacted Cuisinart and although it is under warranty I have to return the entire unit with tracking along with $4 and wait for a new grinder bowl. This is absolutely ridiculous! By the time I've done all the work to get this mill working again, I'll have lost at least $15 and weeks. I was hoping that maybe

The dirtiest coffee grinder ever.

So. This looks very nice on my kitchen counter, but this is the dirtiest coffee grinder I have ever used. There is a tiny gap between the detachable metal cup and the lid, and during the grinding the coffee grounds make their way between this gap, so when removing the lid there is no avoiding the grounds hitting the counter. , and usually only over the entire surface and edge of the grinder. Specifically, when grinding coffee grounds for my wife's morning coffee, you put the coffee beans in the container, put the lid on and press down. Works great and serves its purpose, but since there is no seal on the lid, the coffee grounds constantly spill out. This isn't an…

Looks good but is very dirty

This was purchased to replace a portable unit as we wanted it to be easy on the counter and easy to use. It looks great on the counter, especially next to a matching Cuisinart coffee maker. But it's messy and lacks many of the features of my $15 manual coffee grinder. Pour the grains into the grinding bowl, cover with a lid, then hold the button while it grinds. The grinding creates a small tornado of grist that rises up and out of the rim of the jar because the lid doesn't fit snugly against…
