Review on 🎧 Shure A2WS-BLK Sound Isolating Windscreen by Valerie Perrien

I've been working from home as a medical translator for about the last year and have used the SM57 for most of my phone calls. It worked pretty well, but I often heard puffs of air when I spoke (especially words beginning with "r"). It got annoying so I finally decided to try one of these. I really couldn't be happier. I've noticed a much smoother, more balanced sound and no longer have problems with explosive instruments. Installation was very easy and the instructions were clear, although you must be aware that you will need a very small flat-head screwdriver (and a lint roller to keep it clean!). I considered getting a more expensive Shure windshield for the SM57, but since it's perfect for me, I really have no regrets. Definitely worth the price.
