Very important! on Dental Floss & Picks

OVERVIEW: Dr. Ryan Electric Sonic 2 Pack Dr. Ryan Electric Sonic Toothbrush with Rechargeable Battery 2-Pack*** (Selected for 13 and 12 year olds). These are really simple and clear sonic toothbrushes. The bristles are pretty basic, but the vibration feels great. I appreciate there is a cap for the brushes. There is a separate charging cable for each brush, but the connector is not included. These are DC charging cables (not USB). It charges from the bottom of the toothbrush so it must lie flat while charging (the base is flat so the toothbrush(es) can stand up when not in use). The user manual is actually quite clear. I kept it because there are only symbols on the toothbrush itself, but it's not specified what they mean. (My boys only use level 3 for "brushing"). Sonic toothbrushes should last a very long time. It's been about a week since my teens have used them (about 14 brushes) and we haven't had to charge them yet. My eldest loves it more than the manual. He says his mouth is cleaner. My medium says it tickles the upper gums; so he doesn't like it. The pause (to remind you to change your brushing position) confused him. He thought he was broken. After the fix, he still prefers manual over sound. I'll ask him to try the sensitive option to see if that helps. [The options are, in order from top to bottom: Sensitive, Whitening, Brushing, Polishing and Massage]. I believe the inability to regulate the intensity of the vibration is the problem. Defect. Thanks to the included interchangeable ear tips, I can grab one if my teenager decides he still doesn't like it after trying the delicate settings. Sonic toothbrushes are said to clean teeth much better and remove plaque better. They're also reportedly good for those with limited mobility, as you have to guide them instead of actually brushing like you do with manual and even electric toothbrushes. Motivation: My boys have a bit of trouble brushing their teeth properly, so I hope this will help them improve their overall oral health. I recommend something simple, affordable, and effective.
