This is the second year we have bought these boots for my 8 year old. We have about 5 months of snowy, very cold winters and she wears them every day and beats the resin out of them. They hold up remarkably well and can be passed on to another child. I questioned the waterproof lining on the fabric sides but they stayed warm and dry. Sometimes you have to pull them over the boot warmer when the toe gets damp from sweaty feet or snow that has accidentally gotten into the boot.
