Let me start by saying that I'm considering a $10 Bluetooth speaker pull. It's freaking awesome! I've had several Bluetooth speakers in the $20-$100 range. I had a Skullcandy Soundmine that I had to abandon and I had a JBL Flip 2 that started draining its battery after a few months. I also had several others. This portable, pocket-sized speaker technology is still new, and if you can't afford to pay what a good stereo system in your living room would cost, you need to be careful. But this $10 speaker is a good deal. Let me explain speakers and the term "burnt speakers". It's very hard to damage speakers unless you're an idiot. All loudspeakers are marked with their maximum performance potential. This means you can't plug them into a higher powered amp and increase its power. These Bluetooth speakers have built-in amplifiers. You can't blow up speakers. However, you can blow up the booster, which is what happened with my latest Boombot Rex. I paid 40β¬ for it and I am not satisfied. This Vivitar speaker sounds just as good but is only $10. If the amp fails, I don't care, I'll buy another one. The battery life is only 2 hours, so what. I paid $100 for my JBL Flip 2 and in a few months I was able to spend 2 hours on it. This is the best deal I've found. Connected seamlessly to my Samsung tablet.
