We had an older carrier and it was heavy even before one of our cats got in it. So getting that is definitely a big difference and change from what it was before. It was easy, very easy. Also with our only cat Amber. She went straight in and had me pick her up. Blue for Phoenix, but Amber wanted to be a tester. It was easy to use, easy to take with the cat in it and my cat loved it. So I would say the comfort is good too. We have two of them. A blue (this one) for our Phoenix and pink for Amber. It doesn't take up any space at all. We live in an apartment and need something that doesn't take up a lot of space or is bulky. So it was a great purchase!
