I had looked at this remote before and decided it was really cool and decided I didn't want to spend any money to buy it. So I went with another Harmony remote. However, after a while I really felt like I made the wrong decision. The batteries died a lot quicker than I thought and the buttons weren't great (they got stuck and sometimes didn't work). Disappointed with other Harmony remotes (despite one being discontinued). So I hesitated to buy THIS remote after not buying it at all (bad decision). I can only say WOW! HARMONY ONE IS AMAZING! Advantages: 1. Design: The design of this item is great. Ergonomic, aesthetic, the design of this item is really beautiful. The buttons are large and well thought out. The buttons work easily and don't stick.2. Easy to set up: Having previously purchased a Harmony remote, all I had to do was literally plug in the USB cable and launch the web app. Extremely easy. I can't tell you how easy it would have been the first time, but I haven't had any software issues with the previous two apps using the Harmony.3 remotes. Shelf life: I've been using it for about a month. So far, I am very satisfied. All buttons work fine. No sticky or buttons to press.4. Use with devices: easy. Click and hover on the action button you want to use and it works whether it's TV, DVD, Music, etc. You assign an action button and it works with all devices required for this operation.5. Codes: Electronic codes are available for almost all electronic devices. I had no trouble finding my devices (TV, DVD, etc.) in the lists provided. Whereby I mostly have well-known electronics manufacturers. I would not believe anyone would have a hard time finding these codes to get the device working properly. 6. Touchscreen: Yes, it has a touchscreen for location and some other functions. So far there have been no problems with it at all. You can upload images if you want and also play as a splash screen, although I haven't played with that feature. Neutral: 1. Cost: Yes, Virginia, it's terribly expensive considering its function is designed to run your entertainment system. I found the cost expensive but worth it. Consider your price and be the judge. I considered the cost carefully, went for it and was happy.2. Charger: This product does not use batteries, but a charging cradle. You can also change the light signal. Unlike my previous Harmony, this bassinet sits securely and nicely. This idea seems solid and reliable. Cons: 1. Here's an idea for Logitech: make a silicone case for this thing to protect the back of the remote. I'm scared of quitting this thing and I know that one day it's INEVITABLE. Once it fell to me on a wooden floor and nothing happened. but I'm sure it would be better if "my jewel" was protected. Why are there no silicone cases? This would make a great item for those remotes as we all know that despite your best efforts they will try to fall to the ground. Cost: Well, this remote control is bloody expensive. So this is a scam! But I think good things cost more. Overall: I knew it was expensive. But I decided it was better to do something right and I was not disappointed with this purchase. It's a secluded cliff and seems worth the cost. It works easily every time and is pleasing to the senses. Highly recommended!
