Review on 🧽 Efficient Cleaning with the OXO SteeL Dish Brush: A Reliable Kitchen Essential by Bhushan Barkley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Where was it? Thanks ATK & OXO

So – I was skeptical about the new kitchen brush because I haven't really been happy with a brush in over 20 years – maybe 25 but I don't really count. 😁 I saw this on America's Test Kitchen (ATK) as a review of kitchen appliances/tools. So I bought one to try. To convey how happy I was with this brush - after a month of use I asked my mum to come into the kitchen and pick up the brush and try to clean something (no I didn't try to hold it to wash dishes force πŸ˜† ). My mother was very impressed and agreed this was the best. So I just ordered 3 more - they will be here this week. Pros: I like the plastic scraper - it's in the right place and awkward to use. Immediately felt much better in hand than many years. You can clean it and you won't have a hard time cleaning the same amount you would handle with another. The shape of the head seems correct and easier to clean. Stainless steel can be cleaned without feeling like you just screwed it up (I have a few that have gotten too sticky to use even though they're new) Cons: I still have to get up and go to the sink to do the dishes. But it doesn't really seem to prevent my shoulder or back from doing them (I think a lot of the others just weren't ergonomic - I didn't think it would make a difference, but it did).

Pros
  • Safe on non-stick surfaces
Cons
  • Slightly torn
