For the last 20 years I have RJ45 plugs of different brands and styles, and they are on par with the best. The built in strain relief is a great concept that works well for both protecting the cable and reducing snagging. The channels are staggered (suitable for terminating Cat 6 cables), and the diameter of the protection section corresponds to Cat 6 cable; not too tight, not too loose. I'm not sure why people are having so many problems installing these things. I suspect most of you are used to the new type of connector that allows you to feed the conductors through the end and use a crimping tool that trims off the excess. This is an older style that requires the conductors to be cut to length before inserting. I had no problem getting the right length and good bend. I also had no problems with each wire entering its appropriate channel. I have used about 40 connectors so far and they have all been perfectly crimped and fully tested with a pin tester. This is definitely my new RJ45 jack and I will definitely be buying more.
