For the last 20 years I have RJ45 plugs of different brands and styles, and they are on par with the best. The built in strain relief is a great concept that works well for both protecting the cable and reducing snagging. The channels are staggered (suitable for terminating Cat 6 cables), and the diameter of the protection section corresponds to Cat 6 cable; not too tight, not too loose. I'm not sure why people are having so many problems installing these things. I suspect most of you are usedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • For OD:6.0 cable or stranded STP/FTP/UTP cable, plug in a jack plug
Cons
  • Something else

Bought hundreds, no problem

These CableCreation RJ45 connectors are all you need. My entire company works with it very successfully. The quality of cable you want to terminate depends a lot on how good your time is. CCA and stranded pairs might give you more trouble because they don't hold their shape either, but to be honest I've never come across a cable that gave me so much trouble that I couldn't cut it. Make sure you're using a quality cable and you're already halfway there. The included strain reliefs are a niceโ€ฆ

  • Hard to tell

Works as intended for computer accessories and peripherals

In short, they work exactly as they should. I would definitely repeat them if I need more. The transparent material makes it easy to check the order of the wires once inserted, so you know they're correct before you crimp. Of course, your eyes have to work well enough for that. See my pictures for examples. You put the wires in the right order and plug them into the connector. He guides each wire into its place. I installed 24 pieces in a row and checked each one with a tester; I had noโ€ฆ

  • weak

Crimping cables isn't what I would call 'fun' these days, but at OCD we do what we have to do to keep things going well look. I've been crimping and disconnecting for 20 years now and I've never seen so many cables fail after a sore toe session. And open and short-circuited and demanding results. My reality began to be questioned. Is My Ideal Ratchet Crimping Tool Bad? Am I just sucking? But then I grabbed the ends, lit a cigarette, and examined it carefully. First, the plastic isn't the stuffโ€ฆ
