Couldn't be happier!

I can't say enough about these vacuum bags! From the way they are packaged to how they perform, I will never order another brand of sealed pouches again. These bags are extremely strong, strong enough to withstand extreme sealing challenges and even strong enough to cook. First on the packaging I know this can change but mine came in a flat box the actual size of the pouches and the reason I love them is because I have a giant black FoodSaver Sportsman seal which is literally almost two feet long and a foot deep. I keep it on my kitchen cart which I use as an island and these bags fit perfectly on a shelf under seal. I also have a small Rival base sealer that I use for lighter items that stays on the side next to the larger one. These bags are so simple, easy to reach and grab one from the box. Another great thing, these bags are huge, big enough that when I need quart sized bags I can just cut one of them in half and seal the open end to create two bags when I need them deeper rather than wider at the end and cut off the narrow end. These bags are very durable! I was planning to buy some lighter bags but after seeing how to cut them I will just use them as the price is cheaper than lighter bags. I waited until I used them on something really rough on bags and saw how well the vacuum would hold before checking them out. Well, for the first few days I had them, I sealed thirty pounds of pork ribs, odd ends and all, and they handled rough, sometimes sharp edges with no problem, while other, more expensive branded packaging often tore. Also, it's been a few weeks now and the seals/vacuum are holding up well. We used the first batch in the pressure cooker last night and they were just as good as freshly butchered. For lighter options, I sealed the following: ground beef, chicken, pork chops, beets, potatoes, onions, carrots, mixed chopped veggies, corn on the cob, assorted fish fillets, and two large snappers. Everything sealed perfectly without any problems and withstood the vacuum. For objects with a lot of liquid, such. B. Ribs with a lot of blood, I reseal the top edge to keep the excess liquid inside and to ensure a tight seal, but this isn't necessary, I just prefer not to have to clean the blood. Many pouches don't seal blood well, but these do. As you can see I am very happy with this purchase and will buy again if the need arises. I would highly recommend these bags to anyone!
