Review on 🔧 Rugged Ridge 11236.05 Tow Hook/Frame Bracket Kit for Jeep Cherokee XJ (84-01) - Black: Sturdy and Reliable Off-Roading Equipment by Kip Robinson

I bought these for my 01 XJ and have had a few problems. Like others, I had issues with the original hardware not being long enough, but a quick trip to the hardware store didn't fix anything. My other issue was that one of the hooks sent to me didn't fit the bracket that came with it. The two screw holes in the hook were too close together to fit at least half an inch in the bracket, I'm not sure if it was a manufacturing error or if I got the wrong hook. Luckily my dad has a welder that he was able to adapt/modify to the mounting bracket. A little tip for anyone trying to install them is to use lots of PB Blaster on the bumper studs. I managed to break one while trying to pull one out. They look pretty well built and sturdy, just make sure the hooks line up with the brackets.
