Like the oven shield, this shield is very well made. Unlike Camco screens that rust and clog almost instantly, this screen is actually made of stainless steel and will not rust for a year. Closes the ventilation completely. It's easier to install than an oven screen as you can open the lid to make installing and securing the springs easier. Comes with spring installation tool. It may appear that the included springs are not holding the screen in place. Believe me, I thought the same thing. However, after touring the east coast with this product, it has stayed in place. And these screens are very difficult to crease or bend by hand. They are very durable. This product is essential for all RV owners. This helps deter wasps and critters from settling in your RV. Spend the extra money and get a well-made product. I've had Camco screens for a year and have replaced them with them. I threw the Camcos in the trash because they were already rusty and bent. Be sure to have a spring tool handy in case you need to remove the screen. Happy camping!
