Review on 📻 Stryker SR-955hpc: Unleashing Power in Amateur Radio Communication! by Choice Maynard

The radio arrived with a defective channel selector (encoder) that intermittently skipped, skipped and would not change channels or bands. The radio reception was weak. Just 2 days later I received an RMA from Stryker and had to send it to a CB shop about 500 miles away at my own expense. Stryker's staff quickly issued an RMA, but there was no estimated repair time. Given the two issues I had with the radio right out of the box, how could I even recommend this radio. The response from Stryker customer service has been very good. I will evaluate the whole return and repair process and change my mind based on the results. Hopefully there will be a positive result to report on. For now this is my rating. I did a YouTube review of another Stryker model, the SR94HPC, which is a solid product. Stryker generally makes good quality products, but be aware of the possible channel switching issue on the 655 and 955 models. The repair contractor Stryker hired was unable to complete the repair. I sent Stryker a video of the switch failure. UPDATE: 02/21/18; After 2 weeks the radio is still being repaired at the Stryker. UPDATE: 02/24/18; The radio was returned without repair. UPDATE: Radios are back with Revain.
