Ceramic looks real and can be durable. I gave one star less because there were no instructions on the product images other than the picture. Forget about removing the pin by hand. You must use pliers. The only way to reattach the links was to read the questions on Amazon. A good person made it clear that the smaller pin is hollow and should be inserted before the longer pin. Then you have to push through the longer pin. After all this was done, the strip turned out beautiful. Update: I've been wearing this band (white) every day for the past 3 months. It sweats less than silicone straps, even Nikes with holes. It also holds securely during Yoga II/III sessions. I just ordered it in black. It will look great with a rose gold watch.
