DO NOT BUY! I bought it after reading several reviews. I wanted good old milkshakes. And I wanted a blender that would last a long time. First, this drink blender does NOT make thick milkshakes. Makes very subtle shakes. But even more problematic was that this PRO quality blender couldn't make 2 drinks. We did the first (slowly and it came out thin), we went on and did the second (so the husband could have it) and the engine started smoking. We turned it off immediately but it burned the engine and now it won't even start. For this price and for a product labeled "Pro" that's just disappointing. I contacted Hamilton Beach to see if they could either refund my money or send me a blender that doesn't burn after a drink. I'll let you know when I get a reply from them.
