I wear a size 14 women’s shirt so I ordered the XL. It was too big. I exchanged it for a L and it’s a perfect fit. The length was exactly where I wanted it, a couple inches below my knee. I’m 5’7” and weigh 165#.The fabric looks more expensive than the small price. There is a see through lace overly with a lightweight solid knit underneath. It was not see through. The lace sleeves were see through and gave a lighter feel to the dress. I wore it for my son’s wedding. I was very pleased with this dress.
