I took a chance and it paid off! I bought this for a friend who was only interested in locking/unlocking doors. Follow the instructions in the YouTube video. The first video had an extra step that made it not work. Went to the next video and it worked like a charm. Programming took less than a minute. Another reviewer posted the steps so I knew we were on the right track. This only applies to lock/unlock/panic button and trunk. These steps do NOT program the key itself to start the car. If you haven't seen the other review, here are the steps: 1. Open the driver's door. Keep open.2. Use your key that works - turn the key 3 times. (don't finish, don't start the car!) 3. Close the driver's door, then open and close, open and close, open and close. (3 times 4. Press the unlock button on the remote control twice. Your remote control is now programmed! The inconsistency in the first video I watched says that after step 3 the lock button is pressed and then the button on the driver's door is unlocked. This does not work for Mazda 6 2010. This may work for other models, IDK. * Your trunk and panic button are upside down. IDK why is that but I saw it in a few other reviews and it happened to me too but who cares? I don't and neither do they. Much luck! I hope this works for you! I definitely recommend this product and will definitely buy it again!
