The kettle I have now, and every kettle I've ever owned, could be filled by pressing something that lifts the lid. The manual for this kettle also states that the lid button must be pressed to fill it. BUT THERE WAS NO SUCH BUTTON! In the diagram showing multiple buttons, there was no such button. I didn't find it on the kettle either. When I called the technical service, my interlocutor at first assured me that there is such a button, but after half an hour on the phone he agreed that there was no search button and the lid had to be removed manually to fill the kettle. The manual was wrong and the tech support didn't seem to know anything about the kettle other than what the manual said. I expected better technical support from Revain. To add insult to injury, I did not receive a full refund when I returned the kettle. I'm still trying to figure out why.
