This stuff really works! We used it on our window sills and coffee table and our pup stopped chewing right away. The smell is not overpowering at all. Immediately after spraying, you smell it for just a few seconds. However, it will definitely stay on the surface of anything you spray, so don't touch those areas for at least a day or two. If your dog licks it and then licks your face, I'm sure you'll taste it! The same happens when you touch a surface and then your face, or when your dog rubs it and then you pet it. It will definitely land on your hands, but you might not know it until you accidentally touch your face or mouth, and then you will definitely taste it!
