Review on CL030054BL Atomic Desk Clock with Backlight, Heat Index, and Comfort - Batteries Included by Jodi Ward

I like the thick format of this watch - the dial measures 9.5 x 9.5 cm and the depth is 3.2 cm , so it's quite large so as not to tip over when fumbling in the dark to find the watch. The time display is large (1 high x 5/8 wide) and therefore easy to read. The initial setup is easy. The night light illuminates the display for about 5 seconds (maybe a little longer than we'd like), but the backlight isn't too bright. The "comfort zone" feature is a bit of technological nonsense, but it doesn't detract from the overall functionality of the watch. Setting and arming/disarming the alarm isn't easy - I'd rather replace the 'comfort zone' switch on the face of the clock with a simple 'on/off' switch for the alarm. In addition, the time zone display is very difficult to see (even with a magnifying glass). I would rate this watch a 4.5, but being a '4' or '5' I've given this watch a 5 star rating based on the overall advantages of this watch over alternatives and price in particular. (That's about half the price of a Seiko watch with similar features.)
