Six months of service, adjustable bed feeding just isn't enough maintenance. I got home to find that three switches had tripped. I started unplugging things and trying to reset switches - lo and behold - it was a bed connected to my fancy surge protector. Connect and disconnect it - it only works if installed. I took it off and it smells burnt. After reading the reviews and learning that the manufacturer's position "if it blew, be glad it worked and buy another" is just a flimsy excuse. My bed was only made up, alone, and no one was home. (I think I will come back to buy a protector that has a reset button and costs three times as much as this one). - I have others service my electronics (TV, home theater, computer and remote control - still working after 8 years and has only tripped twice on thunder/lightning)
