I love how it offers support on the long trail, not just at two points. It supports our heavy decorative mirror well. This works well with my heavy mirror due to the way the oval frame is constructed. I would like to point out that if the frame is not assembled well, if the frame is heavy and only supported from above, there may be problems with the actual separation of the frame. It has some extra features that are real pluses. First, Walldog screws are specially designed for hanging pictures. My house has interior wood floorboards over wood studs. The Walldog screws worked pretty well. Second, it happened with the "One-Shot" level. Although I already have a bubble level, I used the one that came with the hanger to test. It worked well.
