Really pretty, the added ribbing finishes the look and feels solid Blocks sun and heat. I will mainly be using it as a shade as we don't have much rain and it does the job well. MANUAL OPENING AND CLOSING WITHOUT BUTTONS This umbrella has no button to open or close. You manually push it until it clicks into the latch and pull to close the latch. It took a little effort the first time, but now everything is running smoothly. TELESCOPIC HANDLE It is shorter than a full size umbrella but not too short to hold comfortably. poor feedback in the wooden handle as the smaller diameter telescoping rod attached to the handle has a bit of play where it slides into the next rod. REPLE ON THE WRIST Made of elastic cord. It puts a little pressure on my wrist when I'm holding the wooden handle at the same time, but nothing I can't manage. STORAGE BAG It has enough space to store the umbrella again, but that requires 2 hands. It has a button closure instead of velcro which I prefer so the velcro doesn't snag on things. It also has a clip-on strap on the peak. The SIZE is great for 1 adult but will fit 2 if needed and it doesn't rain on the side. Summer heat in the desert where there is no natural shade.
