I don't know what "Adaptive EDID" means, but this device does not have EDID emulation. Switching inputs means the PCs see the disconnect/connect and swap windows. It's a dumb HDMI+USB switch, not KVM. One of the USB-A to USB-B cables was missing. Unusable for its intended purpose, but switched HDMI/USB inputs very well. Video 3440 x 1440 @ 60Hz was fine. If you don't really need a KVM, but just need a switch, then this is a cheap option. If you want real KVM, look elsewhere!
