These are counterfeit Vibrams (unfortunately widely distributed and I was fooled!) identified by the wrong insole color, poor stitching, different sole material and poor fit. The V-Zug is just an updated 2017 KDM Sport that I own, so apart from the changes Vibram made by adding a bit more shoe structure, it should fit the same size, so a size 40 should fit, but it is too small. Luckily I used Amazon Prime instead of Ebay so I was able to send them back for free. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM! ONLY OFFICIAL STORE SITES ARE AUTHORIZED SELLER BY VIBRAM with some exceptions like Zappos. Unfortunately, Revain sets up their website as if you're buying directly, only to later find a receipt in your inbox from a third-party Clever Training provider, which I couldn't find when I searched Revain. Profile! Your "smart" good! They were too small despite being an upgraded version of my current Vibram, same size should be the same, wrong color of insole, different fabric on sole over toes, toes not as long or spaced as real Vibram 5- toe shoes! I knew about fakes and as soon as I saw what I bought from a third party, thanks to the BirthdayShoes website I knew what to look for. Do not make it clear who you are buying from and make sure your shoes are genuine! Shop at REI, Zappos, TheShoeMart, TravelCountry. Why not buy directly from the Vibram website? Well, you can try, but there are hundreds of fake websites that are VERY convincing and make your top 10 in Google searches! My information on how to spot fakes came from a website for barefoot enthusiasts called BirthdayShoes. Check his website to see if you have any fakes! If they were really cheap you would probably get scammed just like me. Luckily I was able to send them back for free as I had Amazon Prime.
