I have a question for Garmin engineers - have you tried traveling with your brainchild? The joystick in your pocket is constantly pressed, which turns on the backlight and sometimes puts waypoints. This leads to a decrease in operating time by several times and the need to clean waypoints after each trip. It was impossible to make an elementary blocking of the joystick? Or is this done on purpose so that users buy expensive cases, the presence of which does not guarantee the absence of clicks? This is the biggest drawback of the device. Maps are very slow. In the age of high technology, using such a poor stuffing is at least unprofessional. Loading maps. I was unable to load additional maps from OpenStreetMap using MapSource. I admit my own curiosity. Downloaded with BaseCamp and Mapinstall. Inaccurate location. The cursor is constantly moving. When you move slowly it delivers special inconvenience. My Chinese smartphone in an open area catches much more stable. The general opinion is that the device is not worth the money. The lack of joystick blocking and the braking software nullify all other advantages. If you answer the question - would I buy it a second time if I lost it or broke it - definitely not. On the other hand, there are not many alternatives.
